Organization and participation knowledge. Migrations and horticulture in Argentina

La Plata horticultural area is one of the most important in Argentina due to the production volume. Most of the producers are Bolivian migrants, who experience difficulties in land ownership accessing, weather events adverse, and the increased cost of work inputs. The objective of the article is to investigate political participation and in the knowledge that arises from the producer’s involvement in the organizations that unite them. Dialogues are established with the contributions of sociology and political science when they problematize protest actions and the participation in social movements. For this, ethnographic interviews were carried out with 20 area producers, who are inserted in these organizations. The demands characterization, the recruitment instances and the intra-family conflicts of the producers are described. Finally, organizational knowledge is presented as a possible explanation of these processes of political involvement and participation.

Beyond the Silence in the Theatre:

Traditionally, theatre studies focused on production, investigating artists, plays and aesthetic currents. In contrast, less attention has been paid to audiences, their experiences and profiles. This article sets out to investigate the bodily and emotional dimension of theatrical expectation, focusing on three key points: aesthetic rejection, the barriers that audiences encounter, and the contract with the audience. First, the article presents the main reports on theatre audiences in Argentina, and then traces the historical genesis of the "bodily genre" (Citro 2000) typical of theatre audiences, a regime characterized by silence and stillness. Then, the article unfolds three snippets of ethnographic observations of performances in San Miguel de Tucumán, which are analyzed in the following section. The article shows how aesthetic refusal is intensified by the silent rules of theatrical expectation. In addition, it makes substantive contributions to the complexity of the usual ways of understanding the barriers that audiences encounter when attending a performance. In sum, the study constitutes a significant contribution to the field of audience management and the design of cultural democratization policies.

Apreciaciones sobre el Régimen de economía del conocimiento.

Stories about the software and computer services sector (SCS) in Argentina go back to mid-20th century. In that long history, one of the recent chapters is configured by the sanction of the Knowledge Economy Promotion Regime (27,506, LEC) in 2019. Suspended in its application, the new law would be modified and regulated during COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of this paper is to understand and to reconstruct some assessments and considerations of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME) of the SCS sector on the regulatory framework. Likewise, it will study the links of these actors with entities of the regional scientific and technological system. With that aim, first of all, the study will construct a brief historical account of the sector and the different instruments and public policies for the SCS Industry. Secondly, based on a qualitative methodology with documentary analysis and semi-structured interviews, the article will reconstruct arguments about the limits and possibilities of the LEC from the point of view of potential beneficiaries of the metropolitan areas of Santa Fe and Paraná. Finally, the paper will characterize some strategies of workers training and research, development and innovation relationships that these MSME have with universities and technological institutes in the region.

La tradición investigativa del campo de la economía popular

The aim of this article is to characterize the epistemic-methodological approaches in the field of popular economy studies in Argentina, particularly in research that articulates with organizations and popular movements that are part of Unión de Trabajadores de la Economía Popular (UTEP). For this purpose, a quantitative design was developed that involved the construction of a bibliographic matrix of articles published in specialized journals between 2020 and 2021. Variables were constructed in dialogue with the hypotheses. The analysis combined a distribution of absolute and relative frequencies based on the information collected. The main results indicate that the research tradition of the field is defined by the predominance of qualitative approaches, the prominent presence of ethnography and the anthropological discipline, critical epistemological perspectives with Latin American roots, and theoretical-empirical studies with strong links to the subjects of study. The findings also highlight the considerable number of articles that seek to co-produce knowledge with actors of the popular economy, as a particular and remarkable characteristic of the field of study.

En 2024 se cumplieron 50 años de la creación del Instituto de Investigaciones Socioeconómicas
de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales (IISE) en el ámbito de la Universidad Nacional de San
Juan. Y no se trata de un aniversario cualquiera: marca su medio siglo de existencia y, culturalmente, el arribo a las decenas nos invita a revisar el tiempo vivido. En este contexto, el presente trabajo procura abordar la historia del IISE desde su génesis hasta su confi guración institucional actual.

de 2017, día emblemáico para los españoles: el día del referéndum por la indepen dencia de Cataluña. Tuvimos la suerte de hos pedarnos a media cuadra de la Generalitat.
