Chacarera Territoriality in Dispute: Reflections on Young Chacareros from Médano de Oro
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present work seeks to deepen in the case of young
chacareros of the rural social space of Médano de
Oro, department Rawson of the province of San Juan,
Argentina, recovering advances of which it congures
the doctoral thesis of the author.
The study seeks to reect on the dimensions of
territory, development and identity in the light of the
current debates that permeate the broad eld of Rural
Sociology, taking as an input a specic case of inquiry.
We are interested in understanding the imbrication
between the labor-formative, the universe of the
domestic and the productive, and how the dynamics
of their relationships aect the processes of social
classication of the subjects that inhabit the territories.
In this sense, the work responds to the critical socio-
anthropological framework (dialectical-relational) that
rescues the complexity of the socio-cultural world and
that diers from the disjunctive logic of the production
of scientic knowledge. Therefore, it allows thinking
about research as a exible process in which the actors
are visualized as producers of practices and meanings.
