Abstract
The central objective of this presentation is to systematize the key points of the philosophical analysis of technology conducted by the French thinkers Ja- cques Ellul and Éric Sadin. By examining their major works, we will critically eva- luate the scope of their theoretical proposals in order to understand the dangers, limitations, and bifurcations inherent in the rapid technological development of our society. The structure of this presentation is divided into three parts: (1) the intellectual formation of the thinkers; (2) the analysis of their central concepts that constitute their philosophy of technology; and (3) considerations regarding the apocalyptic style that characterizes their reflctions on technology
